Kelsey and Louis | Norman, OK Family Photographer

I’m sad that this is more than likely my last shoot with Kelsey and Louis, but so so excited for her and their new adventures. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to watch her chase her dreams here in Oklahoma over the last few years, but she made a whirlwind decision (which sounds a lot like fate to me) to take some steps out of her comfort zone and see what else the universe has for her. I’m so proud of your bravery and willing spirit! Good things are definitely coming your way, friend.

Touies Design | Oklahoma City, OK Photographer

Meet the girls of Touies Design, Kelsey and Leslie.  I have had the extreme pleasure of working with them on more than one occasion and it is never a let down.  Not only do I love getting to see all of their creativity through their awesome work, but they are so much fun to hang out with and I love that throughout working together so much, we have developed a friendship!

They are in the process of updating their website and needed some new photos, so we got together one perfect evening in downtown OKC and I couldn’t be happier with the turnout.

Lauren + Jolian Wedding | Norman, Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

This was such a sweet wedding!  Besides all of the amazing DIY decor and favors, the groom was by far one of the sweetest.  Lauren and Jolian had a first look, which I love.  But what I loved even more was his amazing reaction to seeing her walk down the aisle a few moments later.  And then his sweet vows that had almost everyone in tears.  It’s no secret why Lauren is head over heels for him.

Tara + Clay | Engagements

After meeting Tara and Clay, I am so excited for their wedding.  They are the sweetest couple.  Together, they create the most honest to goodness loving energy.  Hanging out with them felt like one really long group hug.  I already felt like a part of their day, and their day wasn’t even here yet.

As you can see in some of the following photos, I’m quite a distance away from the couple more times than not during the session. While I’m doing my thing, you know…taking pictures and such, the couple is across the lawn or down the street being in their own little moment.  Sometimes out of sheer curiosity, I find myself wondering what they’re talking about.  I happened to get close enough to Tara and Clay at one point to hear their conversation, and do you know what he was saying to get those adoring eyes gazing up at him?  He was telling her how beautiful she was! Going on and on about it! Like breakin’ it down for her all the ways he loved her!

I’m pretty sure when getting my own engagement pictures done, my husband was telling me that he is going cross-eyed, he’s hungry, and asking why we have to change outfits so many times.  He’s a romancer in his own ways ladies and gents! :)

Needless to say, eavesdropping on them was the most precious thing I’ve overheard in a long time and makes me that much more excited for their wedding day.
