Loved getting to shoot this dear friends Engagement session! I find her stunning and while Lane is handsome and all, I could have just photographed her dancing in front of my camera all evening! And how fun are the lake shots?! I love when we get to make photo shoots extra personal and shooting them out on their SUP board and Kayak brought opportunity for some creativity and originality, which I always appreciate!

This sweet couple was so much fun. They were so playful with each other and they laughed at every one of my lame jokes. :) And they didn’t even hold it against me for making them sit down in a field full of ticks! Seriously-the sweetest people. We really did have such a good time wandering around the preserve and finding those sweet spots. Best wishes to you on your marriage, Allison and Joe!

This doll. I have the pleasure of knowing Jessica personally and was so excited when she asked me to do her engagement photos because I knew how much I was going to enjoy our session. Her vivacious personality, sweet spirit, and the ability to make you laugh just with her contagious laugh was enough for me to jump at the chance to spend a couple of hours with her and Matt. Which, he’s preetttty awesome too! :) And My God, her style! Also, not that we needed any help with laughing, but mating cats behind the photographer is my new favorite way to spark some genuine laughter. Meow!

Ahhhh! This session was exactly what my soul needed. Nature. Laughter. A gorgeous sunset and hauling ass up the mounting trying to catch it. I think my favorite part of this shoot was that Franki was barefoot the entire time. That’s a first for one of my shoots. Aren’t most girls trying to pick the perfect heels to go with their outfit? Not this girl, folks. One of the many down-to-earth reasons she is a keeper. Rock climbing barefoot-check. Unique, personal engagement photos-check.
